New Year, New Art
January 12, 2011Welcome back! New semester, new exciting things happening down here at START. First of all, the first show of the season is up! “We Are the Last True Gladiators,” work by olivia McNair and Emily Saab, is up at the gallery for another week or so. Make sure to stop by this Friday, JANUARY 14 at 7PM for their reception and a screening! This is a great show, so be sure not to miss it.
Speaking of great shows, TONIGHT there is a Poetry Jam being held at START, hosted by the Creative Writing Society. Preparations are in place, and everything is shaping up nicely.
Lastly, the next START show will be by Lydia Haywood-Munn, and will go up on Sunday, January 23. During the time of her show, she will also be holding postcard-making workshops. Details about dates and times to come!
